We handle the Japanese side for Korean dermatology clinics.
IRUE prepares Japanese-language treatment guides and price lists for clinics in Korea, and keeps them in a form that patients travelling from Japan can actually read.
What is missing in between
Clinics in Korea
Good care is not confined to one city. What is missing is the route to patients in Japan — no guide in Japanese, no price list, and no one who can answer an enquiry. The opportunity passes quietly.
Patients in Japan
They book the trip without knowing what it will cost. When they have a question, the language gets in the way, and the dates come and go while they wait for a reply.
IRUE closes that distance in Japanese.
Last year 87.2% of foreign patients treated in Korea were seen in Seoul — not because demand stops there. (Ministry of Health and Welfare, 2025 figures)
What we do
IRUE takes on the Japanese-language work. We write treatment guides and price lists in Japanese, put clinic and practice information into Japanese, and produce and run content for patients in Japan.
We also set out what registration as a facility treating foreign patients involves. We do not prepare or file the paperwork on a clinic’s behalf.
Our own service, K-Beauty OSS, is in preparation and is taking early sign-ups.

Why we do this
K-Beauty, as I understand it, is not about covering the skin with colour. It is about drawing out what the skin already has. More people travel from Japan for treatment every year, and yet two things still go unanswered: not knowing what it will cost, and waiting on a clinic that cannot reply in their language. Having spent so long close to Japan and its culture, I know that neither is a small barrier.
Founder, IRUE
Japanese is what I studied. Working in Japanese is what I have done.
I studied Japanese literature and have published translation work. I spent my early childhood in Japan and completed school there, and later finished a training programme on a Japanese government scholarship.
Alongside that, I have worked with Japanese companies — running overseas sales for the Japan region, negotiating product specifications and working with technical data. I have interpreted and translated since university.
Studying a language and working in it are not the same thing. IRUE brings both.
